Toxicological Safety Specialist Medical Devices (m/w/d)

Your mission

You are the strategic advisor for our customers on the planning and implementation of biosafety requirements in accordance with MDR,
Preparation of toxicological risk assessments according to ISO 10993-17,
Preparation of biological assessment plans and reports in accordance with ISO 10993-1
Development and evaluation of biocompatibility tests with a focus on the evaluation of extractables and leachables
Study planning and monitoring of biocompatibility tests
Ensuring compliance with current international standards and guidelines in relation to biocompatibility and toxicology.

You'll fit right in if you:

have at least 3 years of professional experience with a medical technology manufacturer or a service provider in this field,
have completed a degree in biology, chemistry, toxicology, medical technology or related subjects,
can independently prepare biological assessment plans, reports and toxicological risk assessment according to ISO 10993-1 or ISO 10993-17 - additional qualifications such as DGPT, ERT, DABT or PGS Toxicology and Environmental Protection are desirable,
have experience in the evaluation of test results on extractables and leachables, cytotoxicity, etc,
are comfortable working with Notified Bodies or authorities,
have strong proficiency in both German and English.
